This post originally appeared on my first blog on Tumblr, which will actually be deleted in the next few days. However, on making the move to WordPress, I decided that a revised and updated version of this post would be the proper way to start the new beginning in blogging.
I can honestly say that my first blogging experience was sparked with the excitement of having a place to store my thoughts on any particular subject. Though it quickly turned to frustration having to deal with losing the original text of this post shortly before completion.
I can say now that losing the first draft was actually a benefit because it resulted in a more in-depth post that, I believe, was confirmed by God to discuss now. This time forced me to slow down and listen to what God was trying to tell me to convey here when I went to serve at a high school ministry event at my church on Friday night.
This time certainly played a part in allowing me the ability completely let things out which needed to be fully released to Him – in an honest and healthy way. The process I am going through must be completed by me writing about my walk. I understand that there are some aspects that I can give better explanation at certain points, but I do not think it’s the appropriate time or place to discuss the finite points in this format. I can easily avoid the potential critiquing by not writing this article, but I know there might be someone out there that may benefit from it.
There are two reasons why I decided this was the correct approach. The first reason is the possibility of someone else possibly benefiting from coming across this article. Secondly, I believe it is necessary for me to take a step back and explain a little more about myself. In order to establish a connection of understanding between us, which will hopefully help give an idea what type of topics that will intrigue me enough to possibly convey here.
With all the technicalities completed, here is the beginning of my full circle.
